Yatharth is a Research Assistant in Behavioural Science at The Inclusion Initiative.
His primary interests lie at the intersection of behavioural and development economics, particularly where public policy issues are guided by behavioural science. During his undergraduate studies, he examined the convergence between upper castes and lower castes in India by exploring how urbanisation impacts education and wages over time. He has also worked on the urbanisation policy for the G20 summit with the Ministry of External Affairs in India. His most recent project focused on estimating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students in the states of Haryana and Jharkhand.
He holds a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London where he was awarded a full scholarship by the International Students House. He is currently a first-year MPhil Economics student at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford.
