The new Masrhall Building being constructed
The Marshall Building is LSE’s largest capital development to date, with a total gross internal area of over 18,000 square metres. When it is ready, it will house the Departments of Management, Accounting and Finance (including the Systemic Risk Centre and Financial Markets Group), the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship, and other research centres.
The site is up and running with enhanced health and safety measures including additional welfare facilities, staggered start, finish and break times, working bubbles, additional office space (provided by the LSE). The Marshall Building will be a key link between existing buildings in the heart of LSE’s campus and those in Lincoln’s Inn Fields.
The Marshall building has been made possible by transformative philanthropic support from Sir Paul Marshall, whose name it will bear.
