Can you give me information about my CAS?

No. CAS numbers are not issued by our team so we are unable to advise you on when you will receive your CAS or when it will be updated.  Our CAS issuing teams are very busy, but they will reply to you.  

When to use the online query form

  • You have read our online guidance and would like further clarification of the rules - if your question is answered in our guidance, we will always refer you to this.  You can save time by checking the guidance before completing this form.
  • If there is no specific guidance online for your circumstances or you have a complex immigration history e.g. refusals;
  • If you have been referred to us by your department;
  • If you will be studying at LSE - we regret that we cannot answer any queries for people who do not intend to study at LSE or if you are an LSE alumnus whose Tier 4 visa has expired.

When can I expect a response?

Our standard response time is 3 working days or 5 working days from June to October. We assess emails each day for order of priority (course start date, refusals etc.).  We understand that you may wish to have a response sooner, but this is not always possible.  Each query is important to the individual who is asking the question and everyone considers their situation as urgent.

Sending more than one query will delay our response times. We ask that you plan your questions in advance before contacting us and wait for our reply.  You will receive a response from our team email address.

You do not need to complete a new query form each time you have a question, you can reply to the adviser who contacts you using our team address.
