Day trips

We offer our students a wide range of opportunities to explore historic sites in the UK, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Stonehenge and Bath.

The Oxford trip was really interesting, it was great to experience and explore such an old city. It's outside of London but it's well worth the visit and I'd definitely recommend it to future students.

Kai Zhang, Analysis and Management of Financial Risk and Advanced Corporate Finance, 2019

We organise day trips to places with rich histories and a variety of sights. This includes  trips to Oxford and Cambridge as major sites of academic and cultural significance as well as weekend trips to Stonehenge and Bath.

These are paid, ticketed trips with limited capacity. Tickets will be available around a month before the start of each session and you will be notified via email when tickets are released.

Cambridge

As part of our previous trips, students visited King’s College, University of Cambridge and went on a walking tour of all of the best sights in the picturesque city.

Stonehenge and Bath

This trip includes entrance to the ancient and mystical monument of Stonehenge, followed by a walking tour of the beautiful city of Bath, situated in the valley of the River Avon. At the heart of the city are the famous Roman Baths, one of the best preserved Roman remains in the world.

“I went to Oxford with the social programme. It was really cool getting to kayak along the river and visiting the pub where CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien got together. Oxford has such an interesting history and the trip was very fun!”

Bruno Monteiro, Advanced Corporate Finance, 2019
