Francesca Swirski Scholarship

LSE is pleased to confirm that two new  Francesca Swirski  Scholarships have been agreed to support undergraduate study. The first commenced for entry to the 2019 academic session and the second is available for entry in 2020, for applicants who are a national of and currently domiciled in one of the EU countries listed below.

Eligibility

This scholarship will be selected on the basis of financial need demonstrated by the Undergraduate Scholarship application form and awarded to an applicant who is a national of and domiciled in one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia or Slovenia with an offer of a place on any BSc programme.

Scholarship amount

The scholarship will provide £9,500 per year of the programme (for the three year duration of the programme, subject to satisfactory academic progression).

How to apply

Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 1 June 2020.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the Financial Support Office (FSO) is now working remotely, which means we cannot receive hard copies of application forms or supporting documents. We are now accepting scanned copies of application forms and supporting documents by the scholarship deadline.

To be considered for a scholarship please complete the LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2020 and return a scanned copy along with your supporting documents to the FSO at financial-support@lse.ac.uk. Your academic reference can also be sent by email from the institutional email address of your referee to the FSO inbox (financial-support@lse.ac.uk), we will match it with your application.
