Exploring the relationships between men, masculinities and post-coital pregnancy avoidance, Ghana.
Joe is a PhD Candidate in Population Studies / Demography. His current project explores the relationships between men, masculinities, emergency contraception and abortion-related care in Ghana. For more information, visit the project website: https://www.masculinitiesproject.org/. His working interests are focused on masculinities, gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights. In particular, he focuses on abortion-related care. Recent projects have included a multi-country study of adolescent abortion trajectories in partnership with Ipas and as a consultant for the WHO on maternal, newborn and child healthcare.
