Christopher Maggio is an LSE Fellow in the Department of Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
His interests include race/ethnicity, immigration, quantitative methods, political sociology, education, and gender and sexuality. His dissertation examines how recent demographic changes in the U.S. related to race and immigration impact Americans’ social and political attitudes. His current work focuses on understanding group-specific immigration attitudes in the United States and Western Europe. He is a recent recipient of the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality Junior Scholar Award.
He has published work in Social Science Research, Daedalus, the Du Bois Review, Sociological Forum, Social Science Quarterly, Social Currents, and the Community College Journal of Research and Practice.
