Second spring during lockdown, and medical staff need more than sunny weather and a clap.

The photo reflects that COVID-19 reveals various political demands and interests of groups including medical staff. This demand is not only about COVID care but beyond it, such as underfunding, privatisation & fragmentation that already existed before COVID. And this is a phenomenon across the countries. For instance, in South Korea, the doctors' union strike opposing a medical law claiming the abolition of the increasing amount of doctors guaranteeing a medical fee. This might be one example of secondary effects of COVID on the labour market, economy, and society, besides primary infection and death.
The sunny weather with the peaceful park behind the banner and a rainbow image looks contrasted with the banner's contents. And this makes it more ironic that there was a cheer up message sticker written "HUGE THANKS" to all NHS staff just nearby the banner, while the banner says NHS staff deserve more than a clap.
