'6 months without a haircut, now I am on an Uber boat'

Being indoors for months because of lockdown, Uber Boat was a concept I was unable to comprehend until a TikTok came up on my 'for you' page showing that it is indeed a boat service that runs along the Thames. With lockdown restrictions easing, I was able to hop on the boat from Greenwich and the experience itself was spectacular as an international student. I was able to finally experience taking a boat under Tower Bridge as well as enjoying the cold breeze out in the middle of the Thames. Despite COVID having such an immense effect on one’s experience of London, I have realised how the smallest things such as simply taking a boat has brought me so much joy. Make sure to wear your mask and take a photo with the safety card, take a self-portrait, because Uber Boat is a 10/10 from me.
