Dr Sanchayan Banerjee is Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at LSE and Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Dr Banerjee has developed the economic and psychological framework of Nudge+, which he uses to engage citizens in better behaviours such as climate-friendly diets, lower food waste and improved vaccine update.
More generally, his research focusses on developing and testing deliberative, citizen-oriented behavioural policies using randomised controlled trails. His research informs policy across different fields, notably environment and climate change, public health and social welfare.
