Dr Rebecca Elliott is Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at LSE. She studies how environmental changes become economic problems for societies. Her latest book is Underwater: Loss, Flood Insurance, and the Moral Economy of Climate Change in the United States, a study of how the economic costs of climate change are produced and socially distributed.
