Dr Marianne Colbran is a Visiting Fellow in the Mannheim Centre for Criminology at LSE. Following her career as a television scriptwriter, her first monograph, Media Representations of Police and Crime: shaping the police television drama, was published in 2014. Her second book, Crime and Investigative Reporting in the UK, was published in June 2022 and she is currently working on her third book, Policing and the Media.
