Dr Koni Benson is an historian, organiser, and educator. She is a senior lecturer in the Department of History at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa and co-convener of Revolutionary Papers and of Know Your Continent, a popular education African history initiative. Her research focuses on mobilization, demobilization, and remobilization of struggle history in southern Africa’s past and present.
