Professor Henry Overman is Professor of Economic Geography and Deputy Head of Department (Research) in the Department of Geography and Environment at LSE. He is also the Research Director of the Centre for Economic Performance at LSE, and the Director of the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth. His current research interests include the clustering of economic activity, the evolution of cities and the causes and consequences of urban sprawl.
