Dr Eleanor Knott is a political scientist and Assistant Professor in Qualitative Methods in the Department of Methodology at LSE. Her first book, Kin Majorities: identity and citizenship in Crimea and Moldova was published by McGill-Queens University Press in 2022. Her research focuses on the politics of citizenship and identity in post-Soviet space and beyond. In particular, she is interested in everyday nationalism and studying the meaning and practice of citizenship from the bottom-up.
