Clare Hemmings is Professor of Feminist Theory in the Department of Gender Studies at LSE. Her research focuses on two main areas – feminist and queer studies – and she is particularly interested in thinking through the relationship between these, as well as the ways in which both fields have been institutionalised at national and international levels.
