LSE offers lots of social and study spaces for students to meet, eat and study.
The Department has a common room open to all Philosophy students on the 4th floor of the Lakatos building. You require a code to access the room, which will be given to you at the start of term.
A Postgraduate common room can be found on the lower ground floor in 32 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, where you will also find a number of break out areas in the basement and on the ground floor, all conveniently close to the Bean Counter.
Just a couple of footsteps from the Lakatos Building, you find the King’s Chambers, hosting designated common room for the use of all LSE students with swipe card access control. Located on the ground floor of King’s Chambers, the Salon can be accessed between 8am and 10pm.
A full list of facilities, including where to find the nearest water fountains, green spaces or shops is available from the Estates Division.
