Atte Jääskeläinen was most recently the Director of News, Sport and Current Affairs, Finnish Broadcasting Company, Yle. He led the leading Finnish news organisation successfully through a major change, bringing it from both from a state of digital denial to strong and modern market leader, but also an internationally recognized, even admired innovator of new services and new ways of creating both excellent quality and efficiency. Atte is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Reuteurs Institute for the Study of Journalism.
During his time at LSE, Atte is working with Professor Terhi Rantanen on the research project The Future of National News Agencies in Europe.
