Following an undergraduate degree in Drama, Film & Television Studies and subsequent term as President of the Student Union at Brunel University, David began his career in the charity sector managing a range of central services in various organisations.
He returned to higher education in 2008 when he took up a post at Royal Holloway University of London as Campus Services Manager, managing a range of services for the London campus.
He moved to LSE in 2013 and was Department Manager for the Library until 2016, leading on customer service excellence, training and development, and administration and finance as well and was involved in helping to establish LSE LIFE.
In 2016, David went to work at UCL as Divisional Manager for Biosciences, one of the largest Divisions in the University. This role provided invaluable experience in the running of academic departments and he was delighted to return to LSE in 2018 as Department Manager – Strategic Planning & Development for the Department of Management.
David has overall responsibility for Professional Support Services within the Department.
