A.J. Pearce


Novelist A.J. Pearce talks about her best-selling novel Dear Mrs Bird and the wartime magazines and agony aunt letters that influenced it.

AJ Pearce is the author of the Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller Dear Mrs Bird, which was a Richard and Judy Book Club pick and shortlisted for Debut of the Year at the 2019 British Book Awards. It has been translated into fifteen languages and optioned for development for TV. AJ is on Twitter and Instagram: @ajpearcewrites.

The British Library of Political and Economic Science (@LSELibrary) was founded in 1896, a year after the London School of Economics and Political Science. It has been based in the Lionel Robbins Building since 1978 and houses many world class collections, including The Women's Library.
