Electronic Pre-sessional Course (LNEP)

Course overview

This is a short online course which will give participants a taster of the academic English required to succeed during their studies at LSE.

Participants will learn about departmental expectations and will receive advice through video clips from LSE academics, graduates and communication skills experts.

You will have the opportunity to practice academic reading, writing, listening and speaking and will receive feedback on an essay and presentation you have produced. 

By the end of the course, you should have a clearer understanding of your language strengths and weaknesses and concrete strategies about how to move forward

Who is the course for?

The course in intended for prospective students with an offer to  study at LSE in the academic session following the course.

To register and pay for this course you can do so on the LSE eShop. When we receive notification of your registration and payment it normally takes no more than 1 working day to set you up on the course. Following this we will send you notification on how to access the course on our VLE (Virtual Learning Environment).
