English presessional programmes

If you need to improve your English for Academic Purposes (EAP), our aim is to provide you with the highest level of language support

Our presessional courses will ensure that you are well prepared for your studies. Also, passing the LSE Language Test is one way of fulfilling your English language requirement.

Apart from improving my basic English skills, I was trained to be able to deal with academia and research. The programme boosted my confidence to express ideas clearly, both orally and in written form.
Attending the presessional programme at the LSE language centre was deeply motivating and, I have no doubt, of primary importance for my MSc.
This course is a great opportunity to improve both professionally and personally.

We are proud to be part of an international community of students in the heart of London. This Campus Tour will give you an idea of what LSE is like. Please also have a look at Life in London: What LSE students can enjoy and a day in the life of an LSE student.
