Juan Pedro is the communication and events officer at the Latin American Centre. He is responsible for the day to day planning and delivery of the Centre’s virtual, hybrid and in person events programme. Juan Pedro also assists the LACC’s International Programmes organisation, and enhances internal and external communications with relevant audiences through digital channels.

Juan Pedro graduated from New York University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Media and Communications at the LSE while working at the LACC.

Juan Pedro grew up in Colombia and prior to joining LSE and the LACC he worked in New York both in Film Distribution as well as in other film industry roles, and at the Cinema Studies Department and Archive at New York University. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
