About me

Beatriz was the representative in Latin American for LSE from 2012 to 2019, a strategic role that comprises representing and coordinating LSE´s broad range of activities in the region. Beatriz worked with both the public and private sectors to promote and manage LSE's profile and business activity in Latin America. Previously, during the first part of her career he held different positions in the banking sector in Spain and London.

After the Latin American years, from 2019 till the beginning of 2022 she was Coordinador General/ Director of IESIDE, a leading regional business school and university centre in Galicia, northwest of Spain. 

Beatriz holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, an MSc in Banking and Finance from Escuela de FinanzasAplicadas AFI, and an EMBA from Icade. Mrs Lorenzo has also taken courses in Investment Management at the IE Business School and PhD preparatory courses at the LSE. At the moment, she is linked with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos on regards to her Phd.

Founding member of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO) Chapter in Spain, Beatriz is currently focussed on her new business venture and Phd in Sustainable Finance.
