Creating an email hyperlink
When you come to add an email address be sure to type the full address - that is, include the'@lse.ac.uk'. This is for a couple of reasons:
- Firstly, to turn the text into an email hyperlink all you need to do is press return, or the space bar
- Secondly, by displaying the full address you'll enable users to make a note of the address in case they want to contact you at a later date.
If you want to change an existing email address, remember to remove the link before you change the text otherwise the link will retain the old address. An email address is a hyperlink so you must change the actual link as well as the text.
To remove a hyperlink, right click over the hyperlinked text and select Hyperlink Properties.
From the Edit Hyperlink box, click on Remove Link and click OK.
