Library and Information Services Committee

The Library and Information Services Committee (LISC) oversees all library and information services at LSE, with web services being one aspect of this. This ensures that LSE's web services are provided as part of a wider and integrated portfolio of services.

LISC's involvement in web services at LSE is largely concerned with governance. Issues relating to strategy, policy and legal and regulatory compliance are referred to LISC as appropriate. In addition, the Head of Web Services provides an annual report to LISC regarding web services with a focus on the LSE website and internal web services. In effect, LISC's involvement in web services at LSE can be summarised as 'management by exception'.

For more information about LISC, refer to the Library and Information Services Committee under Governance of the School.
