Zach is a Fellow in Quantitative Methods in the Department of Methodology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research examines the politicization of, and backlash against, climate change policies in Western democracies. His earlier work explored how populist radical right parties mobilize opposition to climate policies and identified strategies to enhance public support for collective climate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Before joining the Department of Methodology, Zach was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Government at LSE, working with Prof. Sara Hobolt on a Volkswagen Foundation–funded project investigating contemporary challenges to European democracies. He earned his PhD in Politics from the University of Glasgow. His research has been published in leading journals, including the American Political Science Review, Comparative Political Studies, and the Journal of European Public Policy, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
