Carlo Pasqua<\/strong> is a Research Assistant in environmental and financial economics at the Earth Capital Nexus (ECN)<\/a><\/strong>, hosted by the Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His research focuses on integrating climate- and nature-related risks into macro-financial frameworks and investment decision-making to support the transition to a resilient, net-zero, and nature-positive global economy. He is particularly interested in sovereign debt sustainability, financial stability, and the macroeconomics of low-income countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Carlo worked at the University of Oxford<\/strong>, where he developed strategies to mobilize investment for environmental and economic challenges in Kenya and advanced innovation in nature finance. He has also collaborated with central banks, financial institutions, and international standard-setting bodies, including roles at the European Central Bank<\/strong> within the Counsel to the Executive Board and the Climate Change Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
