He works on sustainable finance, industrial decarbonisation in emerging markets and developing economies. He also works on the intersection of trade and Cliamte in particular on EU-India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Background<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sangeeth was previously a research associate in the climate policy department at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) working on industrial decarbonisation and climate finance. Before that he held roles at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC) working on effectiveness of energy efficiency polices conducting a quantitative meta-analysis; at Apricum Cleantech Advisory in Berlin; and at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water in New Delhi.
