Josie Murdoch was a policy fellow working on sustainable finance policy with a particular focus on a just transition and place-based climate investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Prior to joining the Grantham Institute, Josie spent two years working for the Aldersgate Group on UK policy to accelerate the private sector transition to net zero. She led the Group’s work on domestic green finance policy (particularly climate-related financial disclosures), as well as researching and advocating on additional policy areas including energy efficiency, nature-based solutions, planning reform and offshore wind. Before joining the Aldersgate Group she was a consultant for the International Institute of Environment and Development on local climate finance. Prior to working in policy, Josie spent 6 years in the arts and culture sector, including three years at Penguin Books. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Environment & Development from the University of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
