Anomitro is a Fellow in Environmental Economics at the Department of Geography and Environment at LSE. Anomitro’s research is on environmental and behavioural economics. He uses experiments in the lab and field, and randomized control trials to address issues in resource management and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h3>\n
Anomitro graduated with a BSc in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta, and an MA in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He received a Ph.D. from Georgia State University where his dissertation focused on social dilemmas; situations where individual incentives work against social welfare maximization. Prior to the doctoral program, Anomitro worked at The Energy and Resources Institute in New Delhi on energy security policy and energy access in India.<\/p>\n
