Eugenie is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics, in the Department of Geography and Environment. She is also a theme lead for the Generating Sustainable Growth theme<\/a> at the Global School of Sustainability at LSE.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h3>\n

Eugenie is an environmental economist analysing the issue of technological change. Her interests lie primarily in understanding how institutions and policies influence science, innovation, and technological change so that economic development can be sustainable for the environment and societies. Eugenie recently graduated with a Ph.D. from Columbia University. She is also a Fellow at the Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy at Johns Hopkins University and a Beijer Young Scholar with the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n
