Marina Nazneen, a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh has worked in the core policy making and coordination desk of Climate Change in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. She has worked for more than 12 years in different leadership positions of field level administration of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marina’s research interests grew from her observation and experience, and she wants to look at whether climate change funds are achieving its objective, whether the local vulnerable people are getting justice in terms of representation and getting benefits and how climate change funds can be used more efficiently in a climate vulnerable developing country like Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marina holds Bachelor and Master Degree in Pharmacy from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Under Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) she completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Management of the Environment from Maastricht School of Management in 2008. As an AusAID scholar in 2011, she pursued her Master of Public Policy degree from the Australian National University. In 2016, she has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK and is currently pursuing her PhD degree in LSE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
