Maria’s research is focusing on renewable energy applications for energy access in developing countries.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h3>\n
Maria has a Bsc in Economics from the University of Athens, a MSc in International Affairs from Columbia University, and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).<\/p>\n
In addition she has worked as an energy analyst for the private sector and as a consultant for the Overseas Development Institute, where she was focusing on issues related to climate finance, energy access and green growth.<\/p>\n
