An economist by training, Eric is Professor of Environment and Development and Head of the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His teaching focuses on neoclassical environmental and ecological economics.<\/p>\n

Eric is currently serving as President and Vice Chancellor of the London School of Economics on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

Eric joined the Department of Geography and Environment in 1998. Before this, he was an academic assistant at the Centre for Law and Economics at the University of Saarbrücken, Germany.<\/p>\n
