Aaron’s current research focus is on international environmental law and critical legal studies.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h3>\n
Aaron holds BCom and LLB degrees with Honours from the University of Adelaide, and an LLM from the University of Melbourne.<\/p>\n
Aaron worked most recently as a climate change and foreign policy advisor for the Australian Government. He worked on the design and implementation of the former Australian Emissions Trading Scheme, attempts to link it with the EU Emissions Trading System, and has also represented Australia in international negotiations. Prior to this, he worked as a commercial lawyer. Aaron is an admitted barrister and solicitor in Australia.<\/p>\n
