This research topic looks at social justice in relation to climate change and seeks to clarify what equity may entail both in principle and practice.<\/p>\n

Efficiency and equity are both important in decision-making on climate change.<\/p>\n

This topic deals with the distributive consequences of climate change both across generations (intergenerational equity) and within a generation (intragenerational equity).<\/p>\n

The research analyses how normative concepts, such as inequality aversion, affect choices in climate change policy, and is distinctive in developing methods to incorporate equity issues into economic models.<\/p>\n

A part of this project is carried out jointly with the Frisch Centre (Oslo)
