I<\/strong>nstitute Administrator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Salary is from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance.<\/strong> 
This is a fixed term appointment for two years with extension subject to further funding.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment is looking to recruit an Institute Administrator (Finance and HR) to join its professional services team. This is a varied role with a particular focus on financial and HR administration. The postholder will take responsibility for a range of core processes, including purchasing, invoices and expenses, budget monitoring, recruitment administration, hourly paid contracts and timesheets, and overseas and consultancy contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working closely with the Operations Manager and colleagues across the professional services team, the postholder will provide advice and guidance to colleagues on relevant School procedures and ensure that accurate records and effective administrative systems are maintained. The role will work across the Grantham Research Institute and associated research units, including CETEx and TPI, and will involve regular liaison with colleagues in central teams including Finance and HR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, comfortable managing a busy and varied workload, and able to take ownership of their areas of responsibility. You will need excellent attention to detail and the confidence to use your initiative to resolve day-to-day issues, while recognising when more complex matters need to be escalated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
