China is currently the largest country emitter of greenhouse gases in the world, and also home to a large population that is exposed and vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and other environmental threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grantham Research Institute is engaged in a sustained programme of research, policy analysis and engagement about China’s role in tackling climate change and other serious challenges, and its transition to sustainable, inclusive and resilient growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This programme of work is carried out in partnership with experts at other institutions and organisations around the world, and is funded through the generous support of a range of donors.<\/p>\n\n\n
