Project objectives and activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Launched in February 2018, this project linked investors to the broad array of policy, place-based, community, labour and business efforts to deliver a just transition and explored ways of empowering community and labour groups to effectively engage with investors. It provided a resource for leading investor initiatives and the foundations for long-term action by investors and others to ensure that the climate transition contributes to the wider Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project delivery and funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Investing in a Just Transition project was delivered in partnership with the Principles for Responsible Investment<\/path><\/svg><\/a> (PRI) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)<\/path><\/svg><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was funded by the PRI<\/path><\/svg><\/a> and the Surdna Foundation<\/path><\/svg><\/a> in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
