Bob Ward, Policy and Communications Director at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science<\/strong>, said: “This a disappointing decision that cannot reasonably be described as pragmatic because it will make it harder to stop the increase in climate change risks. Jackdaw’s output will be very small compared to international market supplies, so it will make no real difference to our energy bills or security, nor will it reverse the inevitable decline in North Sea reserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
