Next Friday, 28th February 2014, the Grantham Research Institute and Department of Law will be staging a live mock trial, with support from legal experts at Matrix Chambers.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the Department of Law as part of the LSE Literary Festival and forming part of the Institute’s public events programme, the event takes the form of a live trial, with prosecution and defence teams setting out the case for and against the baby boomer generation in respect to their contribution towards global climate change.<\/p>\n

The trial will be overseen by Grantham Co-Director, Professor Judith Rees, with the audience given the opportunity to vote and deliver a verdict, alongside a mixed jury, convened especially to hear the case.<\/p>\n
