The side event features new analysis on climate governance functions required to enable low-carbon, climate-resilient transitions to net zero. The panel discussion will explore how laws can be designed to suit national context. It surveys the diverse law and governance experiences of Peru, South Africa, India, the UK, Zimbabwe, and the USA, and proposes a novel governance functions-based approach for future legislative action, especially in the Global South. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
