While every effort needs to be made to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all sectors, it is clear that a net-zero target will require some greenhouse gas removal, also referred to as ‘negative emissions’. Indeed, to meet the Paris Agreement target, most global scenarios consistent with limiting warming below 2°C above pre-industrial levels require global net negative emissions in the second half of this century.<\/p>\n

But what are the questions and controversies surrounding negative emissions technologies? Join our panel of experts to find out more on issues such as R&D, regulatory support, public perception, governance, liability and domestic viability.<\/p>\n
