Stuart Evans

Stuart is an Engagement Manager at Vivid Economics, where he leads their work on climate policy. His projects span policy design, modelling, and strategy, with a focus on carbon markets. He has led analyses on carbon pricing, net zero scenarios and energy policy for governments globally, organisations including the Committee on Climate Change and the World Bank, and a range of businesses and NGOs.
Background
Stuart previously served as an Advisor to Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Environment, and held various positions in the Australian Government focused on the design and implementation of carbon pricing. He holds an MPA from Princeton University, a degree in Economics (Hons) from the Australian National University, and degrees in Economics and Business from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
