<p>COP28 placed the just transition at the heart of action to accelerate and deepen climate action. This will involve reforming policy frameworks to provide effective rules and incentives to transform the financial system.</p>

<p>As part of London Climate Action Week\, the <a href="https://justtransitionfinance.org/">Just Transition Finance Lab</a> at LSE hosted an expert panel session to look at what is next for global policies to finance the just transition. Ahead of COP29\, the session reviewed the emerging state of just transition policies at the country level and explored what needs to happen next\, particularly in terms of international cooperation and national implementation.</p>
