<p>This event will showcase findings from work led by the Grantham Research Institute\, Shade the UK and Love Design Studio to develop options for a Heat Metric for buildings. Focused on the London borough of Islington\, the project team undertook detailed thermal analysis of six building archetypes to understand heat risk under current and future weather scenarios. Interviews and workshops were conducted from Islington residents and wider stakeholders to help shape the concept of a metric that could be used to support building owners and residents to increase resilience and adapt to heat risk.</p>
