DESCRIPTION:<strong>The ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy and the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment held an international meeting in London on 28 October 2016 to mark the 10th anniversary of the publication of <a href="https://www.lse.ac.uk/granthaminstitute/publication/the-economics-of-climate-change-the-stern-review/">‘The Economics of Climate Change: The Stern Review’</a>.</strong>

The one-day event was held at the Royal Society in London\, where ‘The Stern Review’ was officially launched in October 2006. It took stock of the extraordinary changes taking place in the global economy and sought to guide the research and policy that will deliver the global agenda created by the Paris Agreement (December 2015) and Sustainable Development Goals (September 2015).
<p id="programme">The meeting featured a keynote lecture from Lord Stern\, followed by three sessions\, on Low-Carbon and Resilient Cities\, Sustainable and Resilient Energy and Infrastructure\, and Institutions and Policies for Development\, Mitigation and Adaptation.</p>
