DESCRIPTION:Michael Pollitt\, Professor of Business Economics at the Judge Business School\, University of Cambridge\, will be the speaker at this event.

This seminar will discuss the business model challenges for future electrical energy services. We will consider what business model theory has to say about business model design in this area and then consider the challenge around creating markets and developing regulation to facilitate energy service products such as those that might be supplied by electrical energy storage or household demand response. The prospects for such markets in the light of business model theory\, fundamental economics and empirical evidence will be critically evaluated.
