About me

Yang Zheng is a PhD student in Environmental Economics. His research is mainly focused on understanding how environmental policies can influence green innovation and technological change. He is particularly interested in the policy design and evaluation of China’s Carbon Emission Trading Scheme (ETS).

Yang holds an MSc in Economics from Wuhan University, China. Prior to joining LSE, he worked at Wuhan University as a research assistant conducting research on the link between shareholding behavior and technology spillovers, and the induced innovation effects of China’s Carbon ETS.
